Antarctic Fuel Delivery Operation: IL-76 Modernization Tests and 41-ton Parachute Drop under DROMLAN Program

About the Mission

In December 2016, specialists from «Advanced Technologies and Service» conducted a fuel delivery operation in Antarctica. The work was carried out from the ice airfield of the Russian station «Novolazarevskaya» as part of the international DROMLAN program. The airdrop target was point FD-83.

Technical Details

Additionally, parallel to the main mission, tests of the modernized aircraft were conducted.
