About the Mission
In 2016, specialists from «Advanced Technologies and Service» implemented a large-scale project within the framework of the World Food Programme (WFP) in the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic. The key objective of the operation was to provide the residents of Deir ez-Zor with food and medical supplies. The city was in a difficult situation, being surrounded by militants of terrorist organizations.
Implementation Features
The operation to deliver humanitarian cargo to the city of Deir ez-Zor was particularly challenging. During the project implementation, specialized logistics solutions were employed, including the use of self-manufactured parachute systems.
Particular attention was paid to the safety of cargo delivery. Thanks to the professionalism of the team and modern equipment, all humanitarian supplies (3,107,750 kg of food products and medical supplies) were delivered to recipients in full and without loss.
The successful completion of the mission was made possible by the coordinated work of all project participants and the application of advanced technologies in the field of aviation logistics.
